Have you ever started something that you were really excited about? It was your idea! It was going to be great! You ran into it with the exuberance of a kid running to the presents under the tree on Christmas morning.
And then you stopped…
At some point the excitement of the new thing wore off. And it became a challenging work just like everything else you had been doing.
What is that thing for you?
Let me encourage you today to pick it up where you left it off. Sure, there may be a little work to get back into the rhythm, but perhaps it will be worth it. Like the picture above, there are a lot of long rows in this life. When you get distracted or discouraged, sometimes you just need to pick up where you left off.
Here’s to me restarting this thing I started: writing.
